The breakout of the war shatters the world of a young student, Lyudmila Pavlichenko, forcing her to enlist in the army in 1941. 　　苏联女学生柳德米拉·帕夫利琴科在一次射击游戏中无意间发现了自己的射击天赋，1941年她不顾家人反对毅然参军。帕夫利琴科成长为全苏联最出色的狙击手，同时她被德军视为不惜一切代价也要除掉的巨大的威胁。柳德米拉遇到一名男子并坠入爱河。然而，好景不长，战争过去，厄运却再次降临……

◎真实人物
1943年10月25日，她被授予“苏联英雄”称号，并获得金星勋章。战争结束后，柳德米拉进入苏联黑海舰队工作，并晋升为海军少将军衔。1953年退役后，柳德米拉又在苏联军事支援辅助委员会任职。1974年10月10日，柳德米拉逝世，她被安葬在莫斯科新圣女公墓，墓碑上镌刻着她生前喜爱的诗句：“痛苦如此持久，像蜗牛那样充满耐心地移动；快乐如此短暂，像兔子的尾巴掠过秋天的原野。”
